Important: Financial payout information is collected and stored securely by Stripe, our payment processor. TipBolt does not directly store your bank account or card numbers on our servers.

When tips are sent or received, we collect:

  • Transaction amounts and timestamps
  • Payment method type (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
  • IP addresses for fraud prevention
  • Payment processor transaction IDs

4. Payment Security

TipBolt does NOT store credit card numbers.

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1 certified payment processor. This is the highest level of security certification in the payments industry.

When supporters send tips:

  • Payment card data is transmitted directly to Stripe's secure servers
  • Card information never touches TipBolt's servers
  • We only receive a tokenized transaction ID from Stripe
  • All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

With Payment Processors
